Dr. Martens history is built on functional workwear designs. Our classic 1460 boot is retooled with a metal toe plate inspired by safety boots on factory floors. Constructed from soft Milled Nappa leather in contrast to their heavy-duty predecessors. The 1460 boot features an 8-eye lacing system and removable jungle front zip and black and yellow heel loop. Set on our smoke DMS outsole and secured with a DM’s yellow welt stitch.
• Born on 1st April 1960. Named the 1460 boot. Our 8-eye boot is unmistakable. Remixed and redefined — never replicated.
• Milled Nappa is a hardwearing pebbled leather that feels soft and supple from the first wear
• Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at up to 700˚C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch
Classic Dr. Martens leather: durable, with a smooth finish polished to a higer shine than usual.
Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth only. Allow to dry.
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
